My cellular phone is one of the obsolete model of NOKIA. It's been 7 years in my hand even though if I really wanted to change it, I could but I didn't. Phones with many features like MP3, video cam (higher memory), internet browser, etc...is my dream phone but since I am practical I think it will be useless to buy such things when I can already call and text my friends and family using my old cell phone. As we look around, different ages got a high-tech cp's on their hands. However, others are just for trends and for showing-off...so sad to hear it. What is your opinion with the cellular phones going out to the market nowadays?? | |

| | What are the best things that the 20th and 21st century brought? | | I am glad I was born in the time where technology has become advance. Mainly, I am thankful for the plumbing and the toilets. Now, we have water just coming out of the water. You don't have to get a pail just to get water from a well. Toilets because they are more sanitary as long as it's in good working order. I saw in a website of Japan where in they have high tech toilets, with water spraying to wash your privates. Then, I am also thankful for the refrigerator because it prolongs the shelf life of meats, fishes and other food.Another is for the sewing machine which allows designers and clothes company to make fabulous clothes. And the gift of the media players, mp3 songs and IPOD, and the home theater. And most of all, I am glad to be born in this time wherein there is a lot of good music... mainly because of Arashi, a famous JPOP group named Jun Matsumoto, Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba and Kazunari Ninomiya. | | What will be some of the inventions of the 21st century? | | We all know how great the inventions of the 20th century were. It gave us airplanes, television, recorded music, the telephone, computers, the Internet, and many many more. The list goes on and on. How about this century? What new inventions will there be? | | Do you think dictatorship is still possible in the 21st century? | | I've been wondering lately about the sanity and judgement of the people around me. Some of them are so naive that it is really shocking!
There is a phrase that lingers in my mind since the 5th grade. It is about the 1st World War and it says something along the lines of: "Humanity didn't think that an armed conflict can ever take place in the modern world". But it did.Or better said, THEY did. The worst two wars humanity had ever seen followed.
In my country ellections took place this weekend and I, as well as half my country beleve we are on the verge of dictatorship.
My question to you, myloters is this:Do you believe it is possible in the 21st century for a modern country to be ruled by a dictator? Is it room for dictatorship in our modern society? And if so, how do you believe it would manifest (consequences)? How do you think a man can close the others minds enough to get absolute power?
And even more important: How do you think world alliances and unions of all sorts would react to this?For example I wouldn't blame them for not interfering..People who chose badly desearve their own fate. What do you think?

The single is set to be released sometime in September/October, 2009. A music video was also confirmed on the official Green Day website. It was also stated that Marc Webb would direct the video.
