Do you like participating in ATC (art trading card) swaps?
Years ago, I participated in an online mail art site (nervousness.org), and would participate in ATC swaps on just about a weekly basis. I loved the idea of working on such a small scale, and the work was very challenging sometimes. We worked with a set theme for most of the projects, and it helped me learn how to be detailed without doing too much. I haven't participated in many ATC swaps since the site changed over to using just forums, depsite finding many ATC swap groups on Yahoo and Ebay. It doesn't feel the same or as organized as that site used to be. I still make ATCs for my own collection, though, because it's fun!:-)Do you like making ATCs? Do you like participating in ATC swaps?
The Art of being a Visionary
Visions have to be disciplined in order to keep your mind focused and your thoughts in control.
The art of apologizing
Do you apologize when you are at fault or do you let your ego and pride get in the way? Some people are stubborn and cannot admit their wrongs or faults. Do you believe one should apologize if they feel that they did nothing wrong in order to alleviate the situation and make it better? All apologies should be sincere right, otherwise it loses its meaning. Would you rather have someone who always apologizes or never apologizes when they do something wrong? What if one person caused someone hurt but doesn't know how they caused it. Should they apologize for the causing hurt or the thing that they didn't know that they did wrong. Sometimes it's good to just man or woman up, swallow one's pride and just apologize, no matter if the other person is willing to accept your apology or apologize in return. I believe that is ART OF apologizing and true growth in becoming a better person.
Is your cell phone "state of the art" or do you have a regular cell phone?
My son is cell phone crazy. He's always trading up! He just got the Droid and it does more than I could ever imaginne! To me a cell phone is for talking and maybe texting once in awhile and that's it. Why would I want to use it to go on the internet when I have a computer? It seems useless to me!What can your cell phone do? Do you use all of it's features? Do you think it's worth it?
amazing art
I really love to watch those amazing art, I really enjoyed the sand art and recently, I saw those paintings that just takes a few minutes and you don't know what the artist is painting till it's done and he flip the board or throw some dust and you - amazed. Seen it? How awesome to have such skills.
Pay millions of dollars for an art
Seen news that an artwork is sold for millions of dollars? Would you spend such large amount and bid for an artwork in auction ( imagine you are very rich and can afford ). What purpose does it serve doing that? And after the art is won, is it taken home? Who receives the money or how many percent of it shared among who since the artist usually is long gone from the earth.
This is what I call an art
I was watching this video awhile ago. Lots of spray has been used but I don't know where the paint is going to.. And the painter even used as a cover of cooking material and etc. Gosh I think it not worth to finished the video. But I did finished the video with great smile. I enjoyed it at the end. I saw the beauty of spray paint. Why many of us. Addicted to this kind of material. But I really like it.SOURCE: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=111954948835403&ref=share

Richest Man in Babylon - the art of getting rich
I have in my collection this audio file, I use to think it is a little nuts, how could something so simple be the art of people getting rich. Back then I was only interested getting rich fast, these days I am wiser and maybe more patient. Now perhaps I would follow the simple step and become rich. do you like to have the mp3.
Do you think that the use of e-mails has killed the art of letter writing?
When the post falls on my doormat there is nothing nicer than noticing a hand written envelope; you know then that you have actually received an actual real, physical letter from somebody and you can sit down with a cup of coffee, read and enjoy that letter.I don't deny that e-mails are so very handy, and I personally send many e-mails everyday, but I do worry that this handy, convenient form of communication could mean an end to the fantastic art of good letter writing.I have a couple of cousins who still write to me - PROPERLY - on paper, with ink and they tell me all that's been going on in theirs and their families lives, they include photographs and it is a sheer pleasure to receive and read them.In my wardrobe I have two large bundles of letters, one bundle holds the letters that my husband wrote to me before we were married and I was at college, he would write 2 - 3 times a week (and me to him) the other bundle (which I cherish dearly)are letters that my father wrote to my mother before they were married. I found them after my mother dies. They tell me the story of how they met and give me an insight into their lives that I never had before.Every Christmas...
