| Are you a double-sided?Do you like it? | | I know most people have two sides or more. But I am very disturbed by my double sides. One side of me is tolerant and generous with my friends, but other side of me is mean and strict with strangers. But I want be consistent with everyone. So do you have this kind of problem, how do you deal with it? | |
| | Have you ever have a friend be double sided? | | My ex husband now lives with mutual friends of ours about 2 and half hours away...I will give some background here as to what is going on...My apologies if this turns into another lengthy post....The friend that my ex husband lives with now is the same friend that he ran to when his ex wife left them and they were also friends as well...My ex husband is so immature and self-centered....He cares only about himself and noone else...He has 3 kids well 4 if you count baby we lost together...He has 3 with me (including baby lost) And one with his other ex wife! He at first ran to my Best friends house but I won't get into great detail there...I was on the phone with this new roomie and she says quote tell him he has no place to live here...When he leaves my best friend guess where he goes yup welcomed with open arms into that place...Ok I don't care that he's there and that they made up but what reallllllly gets my boat is that she blocks me doesn't have any contact with me and when I email her asking her why...She gets defensive is defending him...He is trying to change and be a better person trying so hard to convince me he misses the kids and so on and so forth...Anyways she... | |

| Do you usually print double-sided or single-sided? | | How do you usually print your pages? Do you save paper and print them double-sided or stick to single-sided because your printer doesn't support double-sided printing?I'm often lazy and don't double-side print, but I do try. | |
| | Double Sided Knitting | | Has anyone ever heard of doublesided knitting before?....i just saw someone on BART(bay area subway) Double Sided knitting a pretty cool looking blanket. i have never heard of this before and its awesome! does anyone know of any good tutorials online?ut what reallllllly gets my boat is that she blocks me doesn't have any contact with me and when I email her asking her why...She gets defensive is defending him...He is trying to change and be a better person trying so hard to convince me he misses the kids and so on and so forth...Anyways she said she realized that was wrong of her! Then she messages me one day and tells me that she is not taking sides and I'm just as much of a friend as he is...So I believe her...CONFUSING...Another thing I should mention is she grew up with her Dad for the same thing that my ex husband is doing to his own kids! Anyhoo My Ex husband is so immature that he didn't help me get my name of the joint account and there was a HUGE debt to be payed with it I finally got him to go and pay it but that didn't stop the calls from collections...I was in the hospital with my gull bladder attack and my son tells me they phoned... | |

| This is a double sided question? | | For Christians is your faith strong enough that in the days to come you are willing to lay down your life? If God asked you to stay behind after the rapture to help save others, would you be willing to live through all that for others?
For those of other beliefs would you die for your beliefs and please explain. | |

| Are you a double sided person? | | Do you find yourself taking two sides on an issue? I do this a lot. I'm not sure how I can try to decide so that I have a firm grasp on where I stand. I can like one thing but then hate it in other ways. | |
| | Destroy more trees! | | A few weeks ago, a project was launched in the company I work for, to save resources. One of the initiatives was to go double sided printing on our documents. If you think of it, it made sense in a way that we not only saved money on the amount of paper that we use, but also maybe save a few trees. In the weeks that followed, I’ve never seen so many people getting disoriented with this change! Including me! Not because we only now carried half the amount of paper we brought to meetings, but because of the number of times we flipped pages that we do during meetings. Now meetings took longer than they should.I guess this week, somebody from higher management got really tired of it, that he or she requested all printers be brought back to single page printing.Although this maybe a setback in our quest to save a few trees, the time we wasted flipping pages was not worth whatever savings we got. So, in the meantime, until we come up with a better alternative, we’ll go back to destroying more trees. What did you think about my company’s actions? Are we justified in using single page-printing? Have you ever had resource-savings initiatives like this? Has one ever... | |

| Tombstone rubbing, have you ever done it? | | If you did, what kind of paper did you use? What kind of medium did you use for the rubbing? If you haven't done it, have you ever looked into it? I just researched it. Very good directions from a variety of sources came up when I searched here at Mylot. I think I vaguely remember newsprint and charcoal when I was really young. In college, we had this double-sided paper, so we only had to rub and the color from one side came through to the other. We used manhole covers instead of cemetary stones and we used other engraved things that we found on the sides of buildings, in sidewalks, etc. So it doesn't have to be tombstones. I ask because I was wondering what kinds of paper people have used and what kinds of mediums they used. But mostly, I was wondering if anyone knows what that double-sided paper is called. One site recommended it, but called it purple and white paper (I remember ours was red and white). I would think all the papers and mediums would fade unless archival levels. For future reference, I would like to know more about other people's use of materials and experiences. | |
| | I made a wall today from a satin duvet cover LOL | | It has been so cold here today and I have stairs in my lounge so all the heat disappears up the stairway so I got so double sided tape and taped a satin duvet cover from the top and draped it down and it has made a wall, I then used the sheet to make a curtain in front of the stairway which when opened can be draped on the banister bit, looks really effecive and works really well, I am warmer already. What household items have you used for a completely different function to what they were intended. Huggles. Ellie:D | |
