| | | | | do love spells work? | | when it comes to the belife in modern day magic and spells there are two camps; the believers and the skeptics. the skeptics do not believe in the hocus pocus and practice of today 's pagan adn withes, in turn, the pagans and witches accept magic as readily as we accept the belief that gas prices wil be higher in another month
spells for love, success, luck and a number of others that are beneficial are still performed by withes, althought they claim to be white witches andtheir spells are harmless, love spells are as popular as ever and are some of the easier spells one can cast. beginners can do it or you can pay a professional witch to do it for you. but do love spells really work?or are they just as the skeptics claim:a lot of mumbo-jumbo? | |
| | Lucky Charms and Other superstitious stuff | | Westerners have such ridiculous beliefs like leprechauns, rabbit feet, four-leaf clovers, black cats, horseshoes, stepping on cracks, wishbones, and walking under a ladder. There are some some Filipinos have an even more absurd set of hocus-pocus ideas. Just walk around the Quiapo, a casino, or any far-flung province and you will see a concoction of lucky charms, love potions, and superstitious mumbo jumbo. Have you have your own Lucky Charms? Did you encounter some of this superstitious stuff? | |
| | Work for a religious guru | | While i was attending an interview i made friends with a person who applied for the same job? After sometime I've received a call from him saying a religious guru had employed him and there was a vacancy in his organisation.when i turned up the religious guru instead of offering me a job stared charting my horoscope.Later he came up with all outlandish predictions which i consider to be hocus pocus.I politely excused myself and left home.Dear my lotters have you had such a strange experience to narrate?Do air your views on this incident and your opinion. | |
| | Are you really saving money by going to the dollar store? | | No doubt, there are a lot of great buys at a dollar store, especially those that really sell items for a $1 each, or less. Most of these goods are, however, made in China. But sometimes, there can be some branded items which perhaps the manufacturer is finding hard to clear in his or her inventory, hence the willingness to sell them for $1 a piece.Shampoos, hair conditioners, body wash, laundry detergents for $1 each are pretty good deals because you can't buy them at the supermarket for that low. But a tiny jar of coffee, or a small bag of chips, who is the dollar store kidding? So the moral of the story is that even dollar stores play the hocus pocus game so beware! But chicanery aside, what are the great deals you've found at your local dollar store? For me, it's deodorant and shaving creme, because you can't find the drug store or supermarket selling these at dollar store prices. What's yours? Any luck at all with the dollar store, or are you much to shy to come in? Raise your hand if you think the dollar store is the American man's greatest invention! | |
