| psychic predictions | | I recall that in 2001 the magician and sceptic James Randi challenged the psychic, Sylvia Browne, to take part in a challenge where she would participate in a test to prove her powers, and would be awarded §1,000,000 if she were successful[em]w00t[/em].She never actually refused, but to date has not accepted.Apparently Mr Randi's foundation has this offer open to anyone who can prove that they have psychic powers. As yet nobody has won the prize.I am an outright sceptic[em]thumbdown[/em] (I do not believe that any such person exists), but I would love to meet somebody who could show me that they can use psychic powers to make predictions that are 100% accurate. So, is there anyone in the MyLot community out there who has met and can recommend (both to me and James Randi) someone who meets that description - a genuine individual with true psychic powers[em]shocked[/em]? | |

However, out of all the major world religions, the Christian Bible makes what are undoubtedly the most spectacular and extravagant claims about the efficacy of prayer: "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." --Matthew 21:22 (NIV) "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it... | |
