| Boston take a commanding 2-0 lead against the Magic | | Behind Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo, the Boston Celtics survived another 4th quarter collapsed as they withstood the rally of the Magic and gaining the upperhand in the series with an all-important win in game 2, 95-92. Pierce scored 28 points and Rondo added 25 points for the Celtics. Dwight Howard was aggressive throughout the game scoring a game-high 30 points. If I had that opportunity the first would to be a billion air the second to have the ability to speak to animals the third would have to be able to own my own castle from England it will not be one that is just build to my likening, but one that is from history that they only give a tour to. Some were collector's items, and others were for leisure reading. Meaning, I could loan one to a trusted friend that would return them. | | Undefeated Magic loses game 1 to the Celtics. Lost homecourt advantage | | An upset? The Orlando Magic entered the game with an 8 game playoffs winning streak after sweeping the first two series against Charlotte and Atlanta while the Boston Celtics are riding on a 3 game winning streak against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round. One streak has to end and the heavily favored Magic finally lost their first game in the playoffs. The Celtics, considered as heavy road warriors this playoffs, raced to a big lead entering the fourth quarter, quite uncharacteristic for the defending Eastern Conference champions to trail at home. The Magic had a strong run in the fourth but weren't enough to save their unblemished record and homecourt. Ray Allen, having a big postseason, finished with game high 25 points while Paul Pierce added 22. Rajon Rondo, a hero against the Cavaliers, had a decent 8 points and 8 assists performance but definitely below Rondo's standards. One of the keys to the Celtics win is their defense. The Celtics limited the Magic to only 41.6% shooting and more importantly, have limited Dwight Howard to only 3 for 10 shooting from the field. Howard finished the game with 13 points and 12 rebounds but really wasn't able to exert his might... | |
