| Is the myLot “Star” Rating System Important to You?At first when I became a member of this joint, I thought there was some “merit” to the rating system that the joint IMPOSES on its members. Oh LORDY, how wrong I was! It is NOTHING!But after reading discussions that point to abuses by disgruntled members, “trolls,” and lately, “vindictive people” from a country whose name may not be mentioned, I’ve come to the conclusion that the rating system is a COMPLETE FARCE.It means NADA, ZERO, ZILCH! It is not a goal to set for one’s self. It has NO meaning at all, except for some misplaced pride, which I’ve decided to toss out with the rest of the trash in my life. And it CERTAINLY will never make you rich.If earning a “good rating” means that I must kiss butt, I’ll pass on the “brown place” and do what I feel I do best. I’ll write ONLY to improve my style; to bring interesting and sometimes relevant and other times funny content to the site.I’ve had friends unmet whose ratings have been disturbed, compromised, macheted down many points simply because they agreed with me. I don’t have all that many “friends” at this joint, but those I have are VALUED. Chances are... |
