Talk about the magic in your life!| Any Little Big Planet players or creators on here? | | I love this game so much, and it's my favorite game next to Castlevania: symphony of the Night. I spent wayyyyy too much time, but not enough, playing that game on my PS3. I don't have the game or a PS3 right now, but will hopefully be getting one again soon too.If you're looking for good levels check out my PSN name on there: NinjaMicWZ...and check out stuff by these creators -geosautus

| | I'm playing in a concert tomorrow night! | | Hi Friends,
Just wanted to let you know that I am playing in a symphony orchestra tomorrow night. Very big hall, which fits a few thousand. And it is a very challenging, but great program. We also have a very talented piano soloist performing in one of the pieces (Tchaikovsky concerto). I play violin, and am playing in the Violin 1 section. It should be great, but it's knocking me out a bit still. This week with 3 three hour rehearsals (including tomorrow!), and then the concert in the evening. Any of you go to classical concerts?:o)

| | Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror | | I finally saw this classic vampire silent movie from 1922.
I've seen colored version with music playing in the background. I think that maybe it would look better in black and white but the soundtrack was pretty decent.
I expected it would be a little boring but I enjoyed it.The Plot:
It's direct adaptation of Dracula novel but they had to change the character names because of copyright problems. So Count Dracula became Count Orlok, Harker was Hutter and Mina was Ellen. The Dracula story is pretty complex and it would hardly fit into single movie (many tried but they all failed in my opinion), especially not in 90 minute silent film from 1922. They removed the part where Lucy gets bitten. Therefore Van Helsing didn't have any impact on the story and there was no vampire hunting. They altered the ending so they cut out the entire second half of the novel. And it worked great. I was surprised how well they could tell the story with just a few title cards appearing throughout the movie (you could count them on your fingers). They even added something to the story (plague).Nosferatu:
People say Count Orlok was one of the scariest vampires ever on film. He's...
| | Symphony with its pure charm attracts me a lot | | I have to admit that I used to be not interested in the symphony because of its rigidity I thought. For a young girl my age, she needs more lifeful music. So I guessed I would rather stand for more than two hours to see a wonderful and exciting concert than sit for less than five minutes to enjoy a symphony concert. But it has been changed since the music becomes worse and worse in the music
circle around the world. The so-called music means nothing after it only remains melody. It can't touch my heart, not like symphony. I am not an expert in classical music, but I really feel the emotion the composer wanted to show, maybe it isn't very accurate, but I really feel sometihing, because it can touch my heart. That's the recent music can't give me.If the melody of a song can't touch people's heart, it can't be called music, it is just a group of notes which are placed together.
| | | Beethoven's Symphony | | Hi,
Where do I able to hear Beethoven's Symphony on the web? Please share, can't find it in youtube..
| | symphony | | I want to say something about symphomy.
for a long time, I like listen to the popular song. and ignore the symphomy.
because in my mind, that isn't a good music style for me.
but when i listen to that incidentlly. i find symphomy is the best music.
it can make me relax, and feel heartease.
everything from daytime are disappear. that is only me and symphomy.
that is amazing.
listen to the symphomy in heart, friend, just try.
you will love it forever.
| | solo or symphony? can you stand alone? | | as the auditorium lights dimned and the curtain began to rise, the concert goers ended their conversations and turned their attention to the stage. the conductor strode to the podium and bowed in response to enthusiastic applausethen the conductor turned to face the orchestra. he raised his baton and began the concert with a dramatic gesture. what followed was one of the strangest concerts imaginable. after the harmonius first minutes, only a few musicians continued to follow the conductor's lead. the others seemed to plany only when they felt like it, or thay played a completely different tune. a violinist sauntered out in front and tried to perform a piece he had written himself. a trombonist broke into a jazz number. chaos reigned. the audience sat for several minutes in stunned silence, then walked out in disbelief...fortunately, the situation described above is fictitious. skilled musicians who agree to play in an orchestra simply do not behave that way. they sign on with the agreement that they will follow the conductor's lead. they are part of a symphony, not soloist who just happened to be playing at the same time. unfortunately, we who have been declared... | |
