I looked up on IMDb what Mike Myers was up to and this movie description sounds interesting: "The remake of the 1947 film about Walter Mitty, a milquetoast man who lives life vicariously through daydreams in which he envisions himself in a series of heroic, fantastic personas."But I admit, I do want to see the original. | Ever wonder if your neighbors had a secret life? | | Have you ever wondered if that neighbor right across the fence from you had a secret life? I hate to say it but mine did. Fot 4 years we were lied to and never knew it. We found out this past week and my hubby and I were stunned and shocked.When we moved in the neighbor told us that he had bought his home from Brenda as well and that he had alot of work to do on the place, we talked off and on with him. He, was always a quiet man, His wife was always yelling at him, all the time then he would go outside and putter around and work in the yard.One day when paying my property payment last year I saw him at Brendas and I said Hi, he tipped his hat and didnt say anything, Brenda asked him if he was there to pay the rent and he replied yes. At that point I wondered why she said "rent". But I never questioned it.In Feb, He left and went to Mexico and soon after his son moved in. Him and his wife were gone. So I asked Brenda this past week if they were coming back or if the son and daughter were taking over the property. Her reply was she had never owned that property. Never. | Living a Secret Life | | Have you ever been two different people? Neither one hurts another person but in your heart, you feel like two different people.
I'm currently juggling two lives... the life of a newly single, good, God-fearing mom & the life of a promiscuous twenty-something year old.
There is not a soul on either side of my "personality" that would guess the other. It is an interesting situation and I'll write more about it as it unfolds. | |
| | the secret life of an american teenager | | Have any of you seen this show? What do you think? It deals with teenage pregnancy and other trials of teenage life. My girls and I watch it every monday night. It has opened doors of communication for us. At every commercial the girl that is pregnant in the show says "The first conversation that most teenagers have with their parents about sex it telling them that they are pregnant. Parents, don't assume that your children are doing it, and kids, don't assume that if your parents aren't talking to you about it that they don't care." I love this show. My girls do not ever want to go through what this girl has gone through. I've told them that I will take them to the doctors when the time comes that they are ready and that I want them to be safe from pregnancy and disease. They tell me that I will not have to worry about that for a long time, but I will continue to worry because I am a mom. That's my job. | |
