Would you get romantically involved with someone 30 years younger (or older)?
This came up in one of my other discussions. Often these days you hear of people being romantically involved despite there being a huge generation gap between them.If you are young, would you get romantically involved with someone much older? What is it about an older person that attracts you?If you are older, would you get romantically involved with someone much younger? Would you suspect their motives for being involved with you (eg. thinking they just want you to get hold of your estate). Would you even care? Or would you simply be proud to have some young, gorgeous person on your arm?
Awakening- Would you want to wake up after being gone for 30 years?
I have watched this movie called Awakening which stars Robin Williams and Robert De Niro and I was really so touched with the movie. I cried a bucket and I watched it twice..[em]cry[/em]..It was a movie where in Robin was the doctor treating patients with Post-Encephalitis Disorders. Robert was 11 when he stopped moving..He was alive but his state of mind was gone. He was like a ghost with a body living but not moving. He was awakened by Robin after 30 years. He was 41 now when he woke up..Imagine from 11 years old you woke up at the age of 41..It was just a few days that him and the others including a lady who had the same disorder at the age of 22 and woke up 63 having white hair and wrinkled face. In the end they all went back to their state of unconsciousness and fell back to nothingness... My question now is..If you had this disorder at the age of 11 and you woke up at age 41...all wrinkled up..old..Would you still want to wake up? What if all your loved ones where already gone..either your parents are dead and your husband or wife divorced you when you got sick..you don't know where your kids are[em]sad[/em]...In short you have to start life at an old age with no one. Evil Nurse gets 30 years for killing patients
A nurse who has been accused of getting a minimum of 30 years in prison for killing patients leaves me wondering why such a person every went into the profession of nursing if he didn't like caring for elderly patients.http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=080304112501.6zz9plr3&show_article=1The man came under suspicion after he 'predicted' the death of a patient, the patient that night slipped into a fatal coma.....Only then were similarities found in patients that seemed to die while he was on shift....While he has denied the accusations, he has no doubt played a part in these deaths, and they seem to be too similar not to have some kind of tie into the nurse, it is believe that he was lazy and did not like the work that elderly patients needed ...While stories like this are not the norm for health care would it make you more cautious on nurses in or out of hospitals.Mooch

If you could travel 30 years into the future and then come back to the present day what would you use your time for while you were 30 years in the future? When you came back to the present day what would you use your new gained knowledge for?
You're over 30 years old...do you still play video games?
As the title suggests, do you still play video games even though you're over 30 years old? If so, how often do you play? Are you married and still play video games? Does your partner restrict you from playing games? Do you play games with your children? I'm married but don't have children yet, occassionally I still play PS2 games although my wife said I was childish. I said back to her this is only for my leisure time. I was a games freak but not anymore since I am working full time. I hardly find a time for playing PS2 but I guess I would play PS2 when my wife's not home. Come to think of it, I saw many people particularly in Japan still play games...even they're in 40s. Well come on, why can't I play for short period?So what's your situation here?:)
30 Years For a Donut?!
Hubby told me about this a few days ago but I honestly thought he was joking...turns out he wasn't. A man could get 30 years for stealing a DONUT!!! Considering that ppl generally get a slap on the wrist for killing their child, beating up elderly ppl or even most drug charges (at least it seems that way)...I think 30 years over a Donut is pretty extreme. After reading the article, I personally think that they are charging him with that to make an example out of him. How long has it been that Cena's champ? Over the last 30 years I've watched
wrestling and was sometimes more into than other times but since having my kids in 1999 I kind of lost interest or didn't have the time if you know what I mean. Anyway, since my 8 year old is a wrestling fan now we watch it without fail and he just asked me how long has it been that Cena's champ overall. I know he's lost to Edge, etc. but how long has it been? Who'd he beat to get the belt - my son thinks either JBL or Brock Lesnar?
30 years the king is dead
Today its 30 years since the king ELVIS ARON PRESLEY died. I was in UN service in Cyprus at that time, when I turn on the radio this morning 30 years ago and heard this news that elivis was dead, I fel so empty Hi was my favorite artist all time. I play his record all the time I cant stop listning to him. After the news the say that they will play onle music with Elvis for the next 24 houers and thats was greate. What did you do when you hear that Elvis was dead? And what did the radistations you listen to do? Maybe you dont remeber all this but for me it was a wery sad day. One of my favorite songs with Elvis are DONT CRY DADY but he has made so many realy god songs, And I am hapy to hawe almost every one that hi has done, I also get his first record that he pay buy him self to make and dedicated to his mother. He died 30 years ago today
This is our second sons 42nd birthday today, we spent a lovely afternoon with him and our 2 grandsons ( his wife was at work ), He had a day of and it was so lovely to chat about past birthdays,We had bought him an Elvis DVD. 1 year ago yesterday my hubby woke up after his bypass and my son said that was the best birthday present he ever had, 30 years ago today Elvis Presley died ( Jims 12th birthday ), Elvis was the same age as he was today 42 when he died, My family are all Elvis fans and we still buy his records DVD’s and unreleased footage, we were saying what a shame it was that he died so young, It is really funny to think that he would be 72 were he still alive, some of you will still remember him and I am sure you all know who he is, I have had a lovely day, I hope yours was as good Margaret xx
30 years Ago The King Passed Away
Who can believe it is 30years the Elvis Presley passed away, oh what a beautiful man he was. Where were you when you heard of his passing, how did if affect you. I remembner waking up here in Australia, my alarm clock is st to the news, I couldn't believe what I had heard, I always loved Elvis even as a very little girl I thought he was beautiful, for some reason we think someone who has made such a big impact on the world could possibly die...I was absolurely devastated, I just pulled the blankets over my head and cried. I had to go to work later that day with puffy eyes...how did Elvis's death affect you????
